We are currently seeking a full-time Processor for the 2nd shift (3:00 pm- 11:30 pm) at our El Cajon location.

What does the job involve?

Performs part preparation operations prior to chemical treatment and post-processing cleaning operations for metallic parts.

 What will my responsibilities include?

  • Loads and unloads racks for cleaning, pickling, etching, degreasing, and similar treating of metal parts. Steam cleans parts using high-pressure steam. Hand wipes parts using solvents.
  • Tends tanks during processing time.
  • Operates labeling, weighing, and sealing machines.
  • Observes safety rules such as wearing earplugs, respirators when required.
  • Works from travelers and written instructions to accomplish work.
  • Maintains cleanliness of the work area and ensures proper handling of tools, and equipment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. May require training in hazardous material handling, dependent upon job assignment.

What key skills and experience do I need?

  • Semi-skilled trade work.
  • Read and write English.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, climbing.
  • frequent lifting/carrying of objects up to 25 lbs.

What qualifications should I have?

Education:

  • High school education or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • 1 ‑ 3 Years ‑ Preferably in a manufacturing-related environment.
