What Does the Job Involve?

Assists with administrative or clerical tasks in relation to various human resources support operations and other management level positions.  Verify visitor information and issue appropriate visitor badge.

What will my responsibilities include?

  • Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining files and processing paperwork.
  • Assist human resources with a variety of tasks to include but not limited to: filing, recruitment, data entry, meeting preparation.
  • Provide support to members of management for various tasks or requests to include travel or meeting arrangements.
  • Helps with recruitment activities by screening and interviewing applicants, preparing new hire paperwork and benefits information.
  • Prepare human resource documents, reports, letters and/or other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software.
  • Process, verify and maintain personnel related documents.
  • Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems including maintaining and updating Human Resource Information System (HRIS) with employee data changes.
  • Tracks applications and applicant data by updating HRIS, Kronos Workforce Ready and ADP.
  • Assists employees with various information including but not limited to benefits, completing forms as needed.
  • Maintain job descriptions, may include job analysis. Update organizational charts, conducts new employee orientation.
  • Handle confidential information/material. Assists with special events, activities and/or projects.
  • Answer general questions and inquiries into company policies, procedures, open positions, etc.
  • Regular attendance and ability to appear for work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well with co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures, work safely, comply with corporate policies, goals and objectives, accept constructive criticism, establish goals and objectives, and exhibit initiative and commitment.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

What Key Skills and Experience Do I Need?

  • At least 2 years job related experience preferred
  • Experience using MS office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Provide clear Verbal and Written Communication
  • Maintain Confidentiality
  • Knowledge of basic human resources procedures
  • Demonstrate integrity
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.

What Qualifications Should I Have?

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. HR Certification preferred.
