What does the job involve?
Develops and recommends inspection and sampling techniques and quality control plans. Develops process control procedures ensuring production of finished products meeting quality specifications and standards. Assists in designing and installing process sampling systems, procedures, statistical techniques, testing mechanisms and equipment. Assures that relevant department objectives are met by the supervision of first line and “lead” personnel by assigning, motivating, training, counseling, and disciplining employees.
What will my responsibilities include?
- Administers quality control coordinate measuring machine budget preparation, technology upgrades and other administrative functions to affect a well-integrated, efficient operation.
- Supervises coordinate measuring machine programming, inspection and control of inspecting articles and materials to conform to established standard of quality, appearance and other requirements, either in the raw state or after various stages of manufacturing, or after completion.
- Directs the continuing review of the quality assurance program and the formulation of new or revised procedures to effect improvements, reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
- Cooperates with production personnel and supervision to ensure the maximum of production with the optimum of quality, as established by management.
- Confers with management, customers, and other representatives in the planning, scheduling, coordinating, and directing coordinate measuring machine inspection in conformance with customer requirements, engineering specifications and production schedules.
- Ensures that all department personnel are trained to perform their jobs effectively.

What qualifications should I have?
- High School or equivalent
- Vocational/Specialized Training
- 7-10 years in Manufacturing environments
- 5 years quality experience / 3 years supervision in a quality environment preferred
