Senior Metal Bellows continues to refine and develop welded metal bellows technology and the integration of welded metal bellows into critical aerospace, semiconductor, medical, defense, and industrial applications. Our 115,000 square-foot manufacturing facility is conveniently located on Route 1 in Sharon, Massachusetts.

What is the Position?

Reporting to the Director of Sales will have overall responsibility for the account management and customer service teams and all-related inside sales activities.

What are the key responsibilities?

  1. Direct, manage and coordinate all activities related to inside sales and contracts.
  2. Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, processes and procedures to optimize sales team efficiency and effectiveness.
  3. Manage, develop, coach, and motivate the team to continually develop their skills to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and key sales metrics are met.
  4. Review inquiry opportunities and quotations for legacy business. Work with Account Managers to develop pricing strategies and to ensure timely response to inquiries and quotations.
  5. Oversee the company Contract Review Process and work with Contract Specialist and corporate legal counsel related to negotiation of contract language.
  6. Lead contract and pricing negotiations as needed for key customers and multi-year agreements.
  7. Coordinate and provide oversight to the sales forecasting process.
  8. Interface with other functional areas across the organization (planning, operations, supply chain, engineering) to ensure customer requirements are understood and customer satisfaction is maintained.
  9. Maintain sales team by recruiting, selecting, training and developing employees and evaluating ongoing work performance. Recommend personnel action and apply performance management/leadership techniques to assure positive employee relations. Explain and support company policies and procedures.
  10. Provide support as needed to inside sales team to resolve customer concerns and issues
  11. Interact directly with key customers to strengthen business relationships and to review their evolving needs to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
  12. Continually develop knowledge of customers, markets, economic trends, applications and competition.
  13. Prepare reporting on sales performance and activities as needed.

This individual will have excellent relationship skills and solid analytical skills with a proven track record of effective leadership, as well as strong understanding of contract negotiations and terms & conditions. They will also be responsible for forecasting expected sales volume as well as implementing customer strategies to achieve sales goals and objectives.

What Education and Qualifications are needed for the job?

  • A minimum of Bachelor's degree with strong technical/engineering acumen along with a minimum of 5 years’ related experience
