Senior Metal Bellows continues to refine and develop welded metal bellows technology and the integration of welded metal bellows into critical aerospace, semiconductor, medical, defense, and industrial applications. Our 115,000 square-foot manufacturing facility is conveniently located on Route 1 in Sharon, Massachusetts.

What is the Position?
Under minimal supervision, perform routine maintenance on heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems including air distribution machinery, pneumatic and digital controls, hot and chilled water distribution and variable volume systems.
What are the key responsibilities?
- Troubleshoot and perform a variety of complex corrective maintenance mechanical repairs on plant facilities and manufacturing equipment.
- Perform regular mechanical preventive maintenance tasks on plant facilities and manufacturing equipment as defined by the SAMB electronic preventive maintenance database.
- Participates in major component replacement and evaluation of complex system problems
- Knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures for digitally controlled HVAC systems featuring programmable logic controls
- Ability to repair building systems that are controlled by a central Energy Management Control System (EMCS)
- Attend daily meetings at the Maintenance Department’s activity board in order to coordinate timely maintenance respond to shop floor issues. Communication with shop floor supervision is a requirement of this activity
- Maintain necessary maintenance records and forward all corrective or preventive maintenance service records to the facilities manager for proper storage.
- Must maintain certification status
What Education and Qualifications are needed for the job?
- Completion of an HVAC training program at a vocational school or apprenticeship
- Current HVAC technician license
- Proficient with manual and power tools
