Who is Senior Aerospace AMT/Damar?

We are a manufacturer of structural parts for the leading original equipment manufacturers (OEM's) in the large business and regional jet markets. Our experience and capabilities span multiple segments of an aircraft, including the engine pylon, struts, wing box, wings, wheel well, and the interior. Our success is based on utilizing proprietary manufacturing techniques to manufacture high quality complex parts through cost effective production.

What does the job involve?

The Production Control Analyst prioritizes sequences of work, coordinates and expedites flow of work and materials. Analyze and develops techniques for establishing and controlling scheduling processes. Develops and executes continuous improvements plans for the control and handling of inventories. The Production Control Analyst additionally plans and coordinates material flow from internal and external suppliers to and from the facility.

What will my responsibilities include?

  • Perform daily analysis and reporting of production status
  • Develop new production control processes to reduce material outages
  • Monitor shortage reports to provide early warning awareness and take appropriate actions
  • Maintain production control schedules for on time delivery
  • Work with leads and supervisors to troubleshoot job schedule issues and technical incidents
  • Responsible for identifying and implementing best practices and developing standard work that ensures product flows through the facility in a cost efficient and timely manner (Lean Flow).
  • Build a collaborative relationship between PM & PC, and other departments to facilitate action across a multitude of functions
  • Works with department supervisors and production control personnel to determine overdue material and parts and informs supervisors of material status
  • Compiles and maintains records, such as material inventory records, production records manually or using computer
  • Requisitions material & establishes sequential delivery dates to departments, according to job order priorities and material availability
  • Communicates across the organization effectively and escalate issues any status to upper management as necessary

What qualifications should I have?

  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite
