Who is Steico Industries?

What does the job involve?
Shop Supply Support
Receive and issue supplies/parts into and out of inventory while maintaining correct inventory record accuracy of items while operating within the guidelines established by Steico Industries.
What will my responsibilities include?
- Routing shop supplies through-out the company
- Route parts from one building to another
- Purchasing items for the shop
- Receive purchased items and enter information into the Key Performance System
- Maintain 5S in area – Sort, set-in-order, shine, standardize and sustain
- Receive calls on the Radio for emergency stock outs and fill as needed
- Other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate
What key skills and experience do I need?
- Must be capable of running all equipment and machines in the department related to processing material and receiving.
- Requires the ability communicate verbally and in writing in a clear, easily understood manner
- Requires English verbal and written skills
- Requires basic math skills to perform basic calculations such as addition and subtraction
- Ability to learn and navigate an ERP system
- Basic Knowledge in MS Word, Excel, and Adobe acrobat
- Assess situations based off knowledge and data/facts and make a logical decision to accomplish a goal
- Forklift certified through Steico
- Ability to multi-task
- Work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Detailed oriented and a results driven approach
- Strong leadership
- Teamwork skills to build positive relationship with internal and external customers and suppliers
- Flexibility and Adaptability
What qualifications should I have?
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- MRP system and supply chain is highly beneficial
