What does the job involve?

Conduct internal audits of the Quality Management System and its related processes. Compile and audit data for the Quality Management System and its related processes, to validate compliance of quality objectives, identify needs for improvement and/or preventative action, and to provide overall assistance in the maintenance of the Quality System.

What will my responsibilities include?

  • Maintain the Quality Management System by developing and revising procedures, work instructions, forms, charts and quality assurance reports
  • Conduct internal audits in compliance with the Audit Schedule, review all necessary documentation pertaining to the scheduled audit and its applicable areas, complete all Reports and Check Lists, provide training to personnel of area being audited, work with the Quality Director and/or Designee to ensure overall compliance to the Quality Management System
  • Maintain training matrix, Issue, collect, and retain Training Activity Logs to ensure all employees are trained to the latest work instructions, policies and procedures
  • Customer Surveys: Prepare and complete by collecting, analyzing, and reporting data
  • Compile and evaluate PNC and NCR data to determine highest contributors and recommend corrective and preventative action
  • Maintain approved external provider matrix by performing assessments, provide, collect, validate and retain surveys
  • Assist in preparation of Quality reports
  • Assist with maintaining compliance of all calibrated assets
  • Provide support to Environmental Health & Safety activities
  • Other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate

What qualifications should I have?

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Experience:

  • Requires three years of Quality Management System related experience and/or training; or equivalent of education and experience.

Experience/knowledge of equipment, machines, tools, etc:

  • General knowledge of Tube and Duct Manufacturing.  Working knowledge of the AS9100 standard.
