GA Precision is a certified industry leader capable of producing various types of machined components for the Aerospace, Fuel Systems, Hydraulic Components and Swiss Round-Turn Markets. We are located in Franklin, WI.

What does the job involve?

Position is responsible for the implementation of cost effective machining processes.  Formulates, administers, and coordinates manufacturing engineering practices designed to improve operating performance, reduce waste and delays and otherwise promote cost reductions on an organization basis.  Reviews production methods, equipment layout, material handling, and personnel, equipment and material utilization in order to improve operating performance.

What will my responsibilities include?

  • ECN’s, Estimating, and Launch/Process Improvement of new/existing work.
  • Process parts on various CNC machines complete as required.
  • Responsible for writing SOP’s and complete documentation for all processes.
  • Person will be responsible to launch new work with assistance of the selected launch team.

What key skills and experience do I need?

  • Prior experience Program/Setup CNC machines.
  • Must understand complete machining process.
  • Team Orientated, self-motivated individual with quality minded thinking.
  • CAD/CAM experience required.
  • Must be decisive.
  • Knowledge of MasterCAM / Gibbs / Creo is a plus.
  • Must be able to look at a drawing and determine method of processing. This includes work holding, machine and tool selection.
