What Does the Job Involve?
The IT PC Technician position is an entry-level position responsible for primary technical interface to clients for the coordination of hardware and/or software support and delivery of operational services as required by the client. Supports both Jet Products and Ketema sites.
What Will My Day to Day Be Like?
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop and laptop personal computers, mobile devices, and other peripherals across the company network.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Removing old equipment and performing data migration to new PCs.
- Active Directory by maintaining user accounts and network permissions.
- Knowledge of and ability to operate and troubleshoot workgroup printers and multifunction printers.
- Analyze system productivity and identify areas of improvement.
- Forward-looking strategy on system upgrades due to obsolescence (hardware and software).
- Maintain disaster recovery plans.
- Build and maintain relationships with peers throughout the company.
- Interact with external auditors, internal auditors, and other senior plc management as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
What Key Skills and Experience Do I Need?
- Knowledge of basic networks
- Knowledge of Active Directory
- Knowledge of personal computers and Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of iOS and Andriod Phones
What Qualifications Should I Have?
- Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent of experience and education
- 2-4 Years desktop support.
