Who is GA Precision?
GA Precision is a certified industry leader capable of producing various types of machined components for the Aerospace, Fuel Systems, Hydraulic Components, and Swiss Round-Turn markets.
What does the job involve?
The Maintenance Technician Electrical/Electronic will support all production equipment.
What will my responsibilities include?
- Electrically troubleshoot and repair complex CNC and manual metal working equipment such as: Nakamura, Makino, Daewoo, DMG Mori Seiki, Miyano, Citizen, Brother, Muratec, Cincinnati and others.
- Program PLC’s and HMI panels.
- Maintain and repair Fanuc robots.
- Backup machine parameters.
- Retrofit obsolete electronics.
What key skills and experience do I need?
- Strong background in troubleshooting complex electrical circuits.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and ladder logic.
- Experience with Fanuc Controls, PLC’s and HMI’s.
- Advanced computer skills and general knowledge of CMMS.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Hand tools and tool box required.
What qualifications should I have?
- High school diploma or GED ;
- Technical school preferred.
