We are currently seeking a full-time Electronic Assembler/Test Technician 1st shift (6:30 am- 3:00 pm) at our El Cajon location.

What does the job involve?

Performs clearly defined testing of electro‑mechanical and electronic performing troubleshooting and diagnostics to ensure production quality standards are met. May work under the FAA repair station requirements.

 What will my responsibilities include?

  • Directs and carries out tests in the method certified.
  • Conducts appropriate tests using electronics and precision test equipment and specified hand tools.
  • Develop schematics, wiring diagrams, test procedures, and data sheets.
  • Operates automatic test equipment, digital storage, analog oscilloscopes, pulse generators, meters, power supplies, and special test fixtures.
  • Organizes and reports test results.
  • Performs routine and complex testing on all electronic and electro‑mechanical products.
  • Performs the set‑up, alignment, testing, and troubleshooting to the component level on electronic and electro‑mechanical assemblies.
  • Performs the final functional and operational tests of subassemblies and/or complete electronic or electro‑mechanical systems.
  • Performs specific calibrations, specific tests, and specific evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and records the results.
  • Provides assistance and training to B & C level technicians.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. May require training in hazardous material handling, dependent upon job assignment.

What qualifications should I have?

Education:

  • High School or equivalent vocational /specialized training.

Experience:

  • 5-7 years of previous work experience.
