What does the job involve?
Label, ink stamp, overcoat and etch outlined information on detail components and assemblies using general shop tools and equipment.
What will my responsibilities include?
- Perform label, ink stamp and etch duties on components and assemblies.
- Use general shop and hand tools.
- Where special PPE required to do the job (respirators, safety glasses).
- Follow documented manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Produce quality parts and meet individual productivity goals.
- Clean and maintain work areas as part of 5s program.
- Comply with all safety requirements.
- Follow all Steico policies including attendance.
- Communicate well with leads and coworkers to achieve the department goals.
- Other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED.
Experience:
- General understanding of manufacturing processes and use of hand tools.
- Requires the ability communicate verbally and in writing in a clear, easily understood manner.
- Requires English verbal and written skills.
- Requires basic math skills to perform basic calculations such as addition and subtraction.
- Basic computer skills and working knowledge of MSOffice.
- Requires ability to access facts and develop conclusions and know when to ask for guidance.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to follow procedures.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently.
