Who is Senior Aerospace AMT/Damar?
We are a manufacturer of structural parts for the leading original equipment manufacturers (OEM's) in the large business and regional jet markets. Our experience and capabilities span multiple segments of an aircraft, including the engine pylon, struts, wing box, wings, wheel well, and the interior. Our success is based on utilizing proprietary manufacturing techniques to manufacture high quality complex parts through cost effective production.

What does the job involve?
The Deburr Lead assigns work and daily tasks to deburr Technicians and trouble shoots problems with part finishes, tools and discrepancies. Also works as a liaison between departments concerning Deburr matters and interprets specifications.
What will my responsibilities include?
- Understands and is able to teach employees to meet customer requirements, such as BAC 5300 and BAC 5730.
- Uses and instructs employees on proper techniques of Technician tools such as deburr guns, pencil grinders, etc. to meet customer specifications.
- Follows and ensures employees follow all safety guidelines established by the Company, including proper use of safety equipment and relevant safety procedures.
- Assigns duties and work to Deburr Technicians.
- Evaluate employees performance and skill level.
- Oversees improvements to area and promotes 5 S concepts.
What key skills and experience do I need?

Preferred:
- Five years on-the-job experience
- Ability to perform basic functions with MS Windows-based computer operating systems, such as opening and closing files.
- Required Training:
- EH&S Leadership Training to be completed within 30 days of acquiring position
- HR Leadership Training to begin within 45 days of acquiring position
What qualifications should I have?
- Demonstrates and instills a good attitude toward work. Arrives on time for start of shift.
- Follows instructions and demonstrates strong attention to detail.
- Communicates well verbally and in writing.
- Mechanically inclined, with good manual dexterity.
