JOB SUMMARY

The IT Infrastructure Technician provides the technical support and management of the business hardware and software systems. 

KEY RESULTS AREAS

  • Provides general system administration for workstations, servers, and infrastructure devices.
  • General administration, including installation, patching, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Administration of Active Directory 2019 on-prem
  • Administration and maintenance of Exchange 2016-2019 on prem
  • Manages the administration, maintenance, and support of the Cisco Network
  • Responsible for the administration of Wireless and Phone systems
  • Phone – all aspects
  • Network Administration
  • Management of IP Addresses
  • Manages and administers all Printers, etc…

Customer Support

  • Everyone is your customer in the business - responsible for all IT issues for all internal customers and equipment.
  • Responsible to work directly with IT Manager, OPS Team, and Customer Service Department
  • Lead Training for all new hires, and current hires in all areas of IT

 

IT Infrastructure Know-How & Insight

  • Web filter and Network security experience
  • Must have knowledge and experience with Cisco switches, wireless, Cisco ISE
  • Understanding of ISCSI SANS, Back-up Systems
  • Must understand Exchange 2016-2019, Security Gateways, and Endpoint Security
  • Knowledge of VOIP Phone Systems, Firewalls, VPN

EDUCATION

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in an IT-related field

 EXPERIENCE

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in the IT field
  • Must have experience with Web Filter and Network Security
  • Must have experience with Cisco Switches, Wireless, and Cisco ISE
  • Knowledge of SANS, Backup Systems, Exchange 2016-2019, Security Gateways, endpoint Security
  • Must have experience in VOIP Phone Systems, Firewalls, and VPN
  • Helpful to have Security/Patch Management Help Desk System experience.
  • Knowledge of MFAQ Severs and Print Servers.
  • Experience in training others and understanding everyone is your customer.
