JOB SUMMARY

Machine operators operate and tend to various automatic machinery manufacturing products for automotive, medical, and other industries. Machine operators are responsible for operating the automatic machinery efficiently ensuring safety, quality, and production standards.

KEY RESULTS AREAS

Safety/5S/Housekeeping

  • Follows all safety protocols, policies, and standards of work
  • Keep work area in clean and orderly condition.
  • Alerts Supervision of any safety-related issues immediately

Quality

  • Follows all quality assurance protocols, policies, and standards of work
  • Performs inspections using basic measuring instruments
  • Alerts Supervision of any quality assurance related issues immediately

Machine Operation

  • Operates automatic machines following all safety, quality assurance, and production standards of work
  • Records production information on logs and productions boards
  • Alerts Supervision of any material or equipment issues immediately

EDUCATION

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Basic English a must
  • Basic math and reading skills

EXPERIENCE

  • 3 years' experience operating automatic machinery in a manufacturing setting preferred but WILL TRAIN CANDIDATES WITH NO MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE
  • Basic use of hand tools and measuring/inspecting equipment
