JOB SUMMARY

IT Manager is responsible for developing and successful execution of long-term IT vision and strategy that is aligned with business objectives.  Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware. Will be responsible for projects and solutions within the larger business initiative.  Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration.  Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software.  Track and maintain hardware and software inventory. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and deliver long-term strategy that helps support the overall business strategic initiatives. Use strategy deployment to engage the team and other business areas in the development and execution of strategic objectives.  Use technology to drive quality and efficiency improvements in the business.
  • Strive to make small improvements each day to current systems. Ensure network components work together seamlessly to meet business needs using their full capabilities and stay informed about new features and competitor solutions.  Analyze departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions.
  • Maintain an adequate predictive and preventative maintenance plan to keep the business functioning at a high level. Minimize downtime and impact of changes. 
  • Develop and maintain procedures and standard work for the team.
  • Participate in the audit of business systems. Develop and execute disaster planning and maintain data back-ups
  • Develop a high-performance team to drive improvement in the business on a daily, weekly, monthly, annually.
  • Prepare reviews for employees and development plans.
  • Develop department budget.

 EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology in computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • Related Professional Certifications

EXPERIENCE

  • Overall, 10 to 12 years of IT experience
  • 5+ years in a manufacturing-based IT organization.
  • Worked on Web Filter and Network security, Cisco Switches, Wireless, Cisco ISE, iSCSI SANS, Backup Systems, Exchange 2016-2019, Security Gateways, Endpoint Security
  • Windows 2012-2022, Active Directory, ADFS, DNS, DHCP, Hyper V, Vmware
  • ITAR compliance awareness
  • Experience with Kronos
  • Manage Engine
  • Palo Alto
  • Infor/StyeLine ERP a plus.
  • Radley EDI software a plus.
  • Security Systems and Software
  • ERP/EDI System Knowledge
  • Hardware/Software Acumen
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0 and Cloud Computing

IT Manager will work closely with the Business Systems Director, Controller, Engineering Manager, and Maintenance Leader.
