Who is Senior Aerospace AMT/Damar?

We are a manufacturer of structural parts for the leading original equipment manufacturers (OEM's) in the large business and regional jet markets. Our experience and capabilities span multiple segments of an aircraft, including the engine pylon, struts, wing box, wings, wheel well, and the interior. What does the job involve?

The HR Generalist 2 - Recruiter will have a primary focus on recruiting efforts, but will also be tasked with general HR duties as needed. This role is responsible for managing all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. Will develop a highly effective recruiting plan, coordinating with local and national resources. Will provide proactive and creative recruiting strategies for the organization. The Recruiter is responsible for ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent, while incorporating state and federal regulations in our hiring practices to maintain compliance.

Senior Aerospace AMT/Damar has three locations – Arlington, Monroe, and Wenatchee. This role will be required to support all three sites and will require weekly attendance in both Arlington and Monroe. The “home” location for this position is in Arlington.

What will my responsibilities include?

  • Develop and execute annual recruiting plans
  • Use the ATS to full capabilities to track and manage all applicant activity
  • Network with industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media and employees
  • Attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition
  • Further develop our current working relationships with colleges and high schools to aid in recruiting initiatives. Attend presentations at these schools and coordinate on-site tours at our facilities
  • Record and track effectively the recruiting and hiring process so that they are transparent and measurable
  • Set continuous improvement goals for recruiting
  • Administrative duties and recordkeeping for EEO requirements
  • Work with hiring managers for effective recruiting by department
  • Create, manage and update job descriptions
  • Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plans for each open position
  • Efficiently and effectively fill open positions in a timely manner
  • Post openings in online venues, with professional organizations, and in other required venues
  • Perform reference and background checks for potential employees
  • Manage the interviewing and selecting process
  • Manage communications for candidates not chosen
  • Prepare and send offer letters and corresponding paperwork
  • Proactively search and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • New hire orientation duties to include prepping materials, scheduling and presenting on behalf of Human Resources
  • Other HR duties as assigned

What key skills and experience do I need?


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experienced with ATS’s (Applicant Tracking Systems)
  • Experienced with HRIS applications
  • Four years’ experience in corporate recruiting, human resources, or related field
  • Professional Human Resources Certificate or equivalent education
