Staff Accountant

The Position:


Reporting to the Accounting Manager at Senior Flexonics Bartlett business unit, the
accountant is responsible for preparing journal entries, bank reconciliations, preparing & 
updating financial statements/reports, analyzing revenues and expenditures, performing 
variance analysis, conducting special projects, as assigned. Serves as a reliable
resource in supporting the Finance department. 


What You Will Do:


• Prepare general accounting and other related duties for the organization.
• Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures, including journal entries,
general ledgers maintenance, monthly financial statements, and other reports to 
be used by management for analyzing financial information.
• Prepare both Microsoft Excel and/or Accounting Software system-generated 
versions of financial statements and reports relating to financial performance. In 
addition, conduct variance analysis between actual, budget, and prior year.
• Assist in budgetary and forecast processes.
• Provides inside/outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account 
information and documents to perform the annual audit. 
• Manage projects through completion with limited supervision required.
• Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance 
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting.
• Manufacturing accounting experience, preferred. 
• Self-starter with excellent communication skills who can implement change, work independently and with others, and work under strict deadlines in a matrix organization.
• Detail-oriented with strong math, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Robust Microsoft Office knowledge  

Highly prefer an excellent Excel skillset.
