 Who is GA Precision?

It also has industry-leading CNC turning, milling, deep hole gun drilling, grinding and honing capabilities.

What does the job involve?

The Maintenance P.M. Technician is responsible for supporting all production and facilities requests.

What will my responsibilities include?

  • Performing scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment.
  • Follow detailed task instructions and record in detail all deficiencies found during the preventive maintenance task.
  • Make recommendations to help improve or preventive/predictive maintenance program.
  • Diagnose and repair/replace worn parts in machine tools and other equipment.

What key skills and experience do I need?

  • Cleaning out chips, grease, coolant and other by-products from the production process.
  • Changing out oils and lubricants.
  • Cleaning heat exchangers, fans and other cooling system components.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.+
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Basic computer skills and general knowledge of CMMS.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Hand tools and tool box required.
  • Flexible work schedule.

What qualifications should I have?

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Tech school is preferred but not required

You will be eligible for the full complement of Senior Flexonics GA Precision benefits, including 401(k) match up to 3.5% and profit sharing contributions (subject to the provisions of the benefit plan documents). Benefits are effective the first of the month after your date of hire. You will earn 10 vacation days (80 hours) annually.  Your vacation will be prorated and accrue 1.54 hours per week.

This offer is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening, physical exam, as well as proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
