Senior Metal Bellows continues to refine and develop welded metal bellows technology and the integration of welded metal bellows into critical aerospace, semiconductor, medical, defense, and industrial applications. Our 115,000 square-foot manufacturing facility is conveniently located on Route 1 in Sharon, Massachusetts.

What is the Position?

Responsible for the overall administration of the Company’s document management and configuration control systems and related procedures to ensure precision and efficiency in managing both electronic and paper documentation through accurate record maintenance and regular updates.

 

What are the key responsibilities?

  1. Develop and ensure compliance to policies and procedures related to document storage, sharing, transmission, and disposal, for optimal efficiency and compliance.
  2. Lead and/or participate in various supporting duties crucial for maintaining an elevated standard of operational effectiveness in documentation control.
  3. Safeguard system security and master document integrity by implementing access rights and revision controls.
  4. Oversight and coordination of change orders across key departments, including engineering and manufacturing.
  5. Collaborate with end users to identify and resolve challenges in accessing electronic content.
  6. Ensure the Company's compliance to relevant laws and regulations governing data security and document management.
  7. Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of existing document management systems and procedures, proposing enhancements; and as required, collaborate with other team members during the assessment, acquisition, or deployment of new electronic document management systems, ensuring a seamless transition and minimal disruption.
  8. Stay informed about the latest best practices and advancements in document management technologies.

 

What Education and Qualifications are needed for the job?

  • A minimum of an Associate’s Degree (or equivalent)
  • 5 years+ proven experience in documentation management or related field
  • Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic understanding of laws and regulations regarding document management.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • Familiarity with AS9100, ISO9001
