NDT Operator - What does the job involve?
To support with the degreasing of components, Use different methods to test the properties of material and check for faults such as cracks and defects in manufactured components. Ensure that all tests are carried out in accordance with relevant customer specifications & standards.
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week.
Core shift - Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:15 and Friday 08:00 to 15:00 with 30-minute break for lunch
NDT Operator - What will my responsibilities include?’
- Examine and the test the properties of materials and components using methods such as Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI), visual, tensile, hardness, and conductivity testing.
- Accurate interpretation and completion of production route cards and data sheets.
- Work collectively as a team to achieve company work & quality standards in addition to delivery targets.
- Perform all reasonable requests made by management.
NDT Operator - What key skills and experience do I need?
- Must have the right to live and work in the UK (Essential)
- Must be able to read and interpret technical documentation, visual aids and drawings.
- BINDT Level 2 qualified, preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Must be able to work under own initiative with limited supervision accurately and timely.
- Health and Safety conscious

- Willing to engage in continuous improvement projects
- Good time keeper
- Attention to detail
- A working knowledge of relevant standards (AS9100)
