Cold form semiskilled Sheetmetal worker/inspector- What does the job involve?
Supporting the production of components to ensure they conform to customer requirements within the Fabrications Value stream
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week.
Core shift - Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:15 and Friday 08:00 to 15:00 with 30-minute break for lunch
Cold form semiskilled Sheetmetal worker/inspector- What will my responsibilities include?
- Accurate interpretation and completion of production route cards.
- Manufacture aerospace components which will involve forming sheet metal parts and finishing to drawing requirements using various machines and techniques.
- Achieve company work & quality standards in addition to delivery targets.
- Perform all reasonable requests made by management.
Cold form semiskilled Sheetmetal worker/inspector- What key skills and experience do I need?
- Must be able to read and interpret technical documentation, visual aids and data sheets.
- Must have 2 years minimum Sheetmetal work experience.
- Must be able to use various measuring equipment i.e. verniers, micrometres jigs and fixtures
- Must be able to work under own initiative with limited supervision accurately and timely.
- H & S conscious
- Team Player and willing to learn
- Flexible (overtime and varying shift patterns when required)
- Willing to engage in Continuous improvement projects
- Good timekeeper
