 Who is GA Precision?

GA Precision is a certified industry leader capable of producing various types of machined components for the Aerospace, Fuel Systems, Hydraulic Components and Swiss Round-Turn Markets. We are located in Franklin, WI.

What does the job involve?

Under the directions of plant supervision, the Deburrist will perform any number of tasks related to the deburring, blasting, inspecting, and cleaning of precision machined components primarily bound for the Aerospace and Medical Industries.

What will my responsibilities include?

  • Pre-wash and final wash components;
  • Use a combination of hand, air, and electric tools to deburr parts;
  • Follow OII and Work Instructions;
  • Use microscopes for deburring and inspection of components;
  • Light inspection using gauges and boroscopes;
  • Perform blasting operations;
  • Properly maintain routers and other paperwork;
  • Perform rework tasks on own and others parts as directed;
  • Perform packaging as required;
  • Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures;
  • Comply with quality and safety regulations.

What key skills and experience do I need?

  • Ability to use and work under a microscope;
  • Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination is required;
  • Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, basic blueprints and work instructions;
  • Basic ability to perform inspections using gauges;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other employees and write documentation and paperwork;
  • Ability to work standing and/or sitting for long periods of time;
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals;
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds;
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision acuity and ability to focus under a microscope.

What qualifications should I have?

  • Prior manufacturing experience.

Benefits are effective the first of the month after your date of hire. You will earn 10 vacation days (80 hours) annually.  Your vacation will be prorated and accrue 1.54 hours per week.
