 Who is GA Precision?

What does the job involve?

Under the direction of plant supervision, the General Manufacturing Support will perform any combination of the following tasks to assist in machine shop activities, meeting or exceeding company production and quality standards and customer product specifications, and satisfying customer delivery requirements.

What will my responsibilities include?

  • Operator support equipment such as ECM Cabinet, EDI, Washers, Drill Presses, Tumbler, Harparizer.
  • Pack parts to customer specifications and requirements.
  • Inspect parts for defects, in order to maintain quality.
  • Deburr, de-rust, brushing, oiling and/or clean parts.
  • Complete all necessary documentation and paperwork for processes completed.
  • Maintain machinery, add coolant, clean/replace filters, and/or add oil as needed.
  • Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures.
  • Comply with all quality and safety regulations.

What key skills and experience do I need?

  • Ability to operate a variety of measuring devices and to operate a wide variety of small hand tools.
  • Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, blueprints and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and write routine documentation and paperwork.
  • Ability to stand and use hands to handle or touch objects, tools or controls.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

What qualifications should I have?

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred.

You will be eligible for the full complement of Senior Flexonics GA Precision benefits, including 401(k) match up to 3.5% and profit sharing contributions (subject to the provisions of the benefit plan documents). Benefits are effective the first of the month after your date of hire. You will earn 10 vacation days (80 hours) annually.  Your vacation will be prorated and accrue 1.54 hours per week.

This offer is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening, physical exam, as well as proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
