Lymington Precision Engineers (LPE) is a Senior Flexonics Group company, and is a leading manufacturer of precision machined components, assemblies and kit sets for the Oil and Gas, Telecommunications, Aerospace and Defence, Land and Sea Systems, Nuclear and Marine industries and emerging markets.

Lead Compliance Auditor - What does the job involve?
Manages and enforces an effective compliance program that’s in line with internal Accreditation's.
Hours of work: 39 hours per week.
Dayshift - Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 8.00am to 1.00pm with 30-minute unpaid break for lunch
Lead Compliance Auditor - What will my responsibilities include?’
- Develop the Annual Audit Plan using appropriate risk-based methodologies.
- Lead the Internal Audit function and develops compliance and risk management methodologies and procedures.
- Lead the successful development, management and end-to-end execution of Audit and Compliance Plans.
- Perform audits and investigations as a lead auditor in all areas (in particular QMS ISO 9001, GS3001, AS9100 ISO14001);
- Ensure results are achieved in a timely manner by applying state-of-the-art methodologies while keeping key stakeholders updated.
- Present results and subsequent recommendations to Senior Management
- Coordinate the process of drafting and updating policies, procedures and company operating instructions.
- Coach and mentor team members.
- Supplier Assessment and Visit reports to be populated when required
Lead Compliance Auditor - What key skills and experience do I need?
- Must have the right to live and work in the UK (Essential)
- Experience of working in a Quality / Engineering Environment
- Good Communication & Interpersonal Skills
- Work to a high standard of accuracy
- Good Attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of MRP or ERP system (IFS). (Desirable)
Lead Compliance Auditor - What qualifications should I have?
- Basic O’ Level / GCSE Qualifications, technical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ).
- Full UK Driving Licence
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Qualification
- Proficient in standard Microsoft office software applications
- AS 9100 Lead Auditor Qualification (Desirable)
- Security Clearance (Desirable)
- Full Apprenticeship /Time Served in machining, or relevant skills applicable to the role. (Desirable)
